PACK LIST

A warm layer, a blanket to sit on, and something to drink. The sand gets cold fast once the sun's gone.

PARKING & ACCESS

Park at the North lot (free after 6pm). Walk the boardwalk south for 4 minutes — listen for the fire. No cars on the sand.

Tide & Terrain

High tide, 18:12

The water tops out just after six, so we're lighting the fire well above the wrack line. Blankets go on the dry sand past the flags — the wet pack below it stays for the sandpipers.

The north berm

There's a low dune between the boardwalk and the pit that kills the wind perfectly. First ones down get it; bring an extra layer anyway and you'll never need it.

Driftwood etiquette

Only burn what the tide brings in — the driftwood piles are the beach's own stores. If you can lift it one-handed, it's yours for the fire.
